UPDATED FOR THE NEW BAR EXAM FORMAT
Short on time, equivalency exams are the answer for you. These exams pack more subjects into one exam than do the Quebec Bar Past Exams. This page contains all of the past Quebec Bar equivalency exams with solution sheets (and without annotations) that I was able to get my hands on. Simply put, equivalency exams are the exams which lawyers from other jurisdictions have to write before becoming members of the Quebec Bar. These exams covered all of the subjects every year (except for Business Law) in less exams than the classic Quebec Bar exams resulting in more subjects being covered per exam. For example, the criminal law part of the relevant equivalency exam is half as long as the past Bar exams on the subject. Some exams even cover multiple topics all in one, but expect to be skipping many questions on some of these exams. And obviously, these past exams are great if you are writing an equivalency exam after having a status in another province or country. The exams are all bilingual: the first half of the exam contains the French questions and the second half contains their translation into English.
Criminal + (Constitutional & Corporate Tax) / Criminel + (Constitutionnel & Taxation corporative)
You only need to do the criminal law questions on these exams. The constitutional and corporate tax questions are no longer exam material. Points are no longer awarded for cited jurisprudence and beware of statute changes regarding drug-related infractions.

Administrative & Labour / Administratif & Travail
The questions on labour law are sometimes based off of some of the predecessors to the Act Respecting Labour Standards which provides different answers than the current applicable statute. Points are no longer awarded for cited jurisprudence. Many of the administrative questions are on municipal taxation which may be skipped as this is no longer Quebec Bar Exam material.

Civil I (Persons, Family, Priorities & Hypothecs), Evidence, Procedure / Civil I (Personnes, Famille, Priorités et hypothèques), Preuve, Procédure
The civil law questions remain largely relevant. Be wary of the procedure questions as the new C.C.P. has changed some of the answers.

Civil II (Obligations, Civil Liability, Business Association Contracts), Evidence, Procedure / Civil II (Obligations, Responsabilité civile, Contrats d’association), Preuve, Procédure
Questions on Obligations remain largement relevant as are those on Civil Liability, but the questions on the law of Business Associations are not that relevant since the Business law subject on the Bar Exam focuses primarily on corporations rather than partnerships. Be wary of the procedure questions as the new C.C.P. has changed some of the answers.
