Become a tutor

Are you interested in giving back and helping students pass the Bar, while making great money at the same time? Do you remember the challenge of passing the Bar and want to help others going through the process.

Sharpened is on the lookout for tutors interested in tutoring 3 to 8 hours per week (potentially more if interested). The work is remote and fully compatible with holding other employment. In terms of candidates, you must be a member of the Quebec or Ontario Bar and enjoy teaching, have a firm grasp of the law, and be comfortable working independently. Recent calls to the Bar, seasoned lawyers and everything in between are welcome. As certain students want sessions in English and others want them in French, bilingualism is a must. Previous tutoring experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

As you will be working independently, you will run your own sessions and be the point person for your students. On our end, we will provide you with those students and take care of all of the administration. And as you will be scheduling your tutoring sessions, you can plan them at times convenient for you (and your students), such as evenings or weekends.
